Temporary Terms & Conditions during slow easing of lockdown measures.

  1. IMPORTANT :- We will remove these terms and conditions as soon as we can, but they will remain in place until it is safe to open normally. Sorry to have to include these, but during these troubled times, needs must.
  2. Please cancel or reschedule your booking if anyone in your household (eg. even if they are not attending) has a cough, temperature or feels under the weather.
  3. Please follow Government guidelines on who can attending. eg same household ONLY-  or Family Bubble
  4. During these times of Corona Virus restrictions, we will only be open for pre-booked table(s).  Starting with two tables, one family only. As time goes on, we hope to add more as long as it is safe to do so.
  5. We will be taking as many measures as possible to make sure both you and us are safe, using masks, aprons, hand washing etc. We trust you will help us by doing the same.
  6. There will be NO casual painting attendance until further notice and we may be closed if there are no bookings.
  7. When you arrive, please wait out side to be invited in. (and respect the 2 mtr rule if other family is also attending)
  8. Please remain seated, and make sure children are not wandering around during your session, we will chat about what you want to paint and bring the items to you.
  9. All items must be finished during the session. ( no return visits to finish off another time, unless part of another pre-booked table which will be subject to further minimum spend as set out below.
  10. Collection time of fired and finished items will be discussed at the time, but is very likely to be much longer than usual.
  11. We are NOT taking a £10 deposit, but reserve the right to charge £10 for non attendance.  After you have booked you will receive a confirmation email, and then a reminder email, both have a reschedule & cancel option links so you can change your booking at any time.  If you have to cancel please give us as much notice as possible to allow someone else to take your slot. We will only concider charging £10 for non attendance if we do not hear from you.
  12. Please read minimum spend requirements below. These have been introduced, because we are limiting the studio to 1 or 2 tables,  and trying to make sure we get through this and ready to take on the Christmas rush, so we do need to utilise space efficiently.

Minimum Spend per head...

A minimum spend of £10 per seat taken. This will include anyone not painting. Example 2 adults & 2 children = a total spend of at least £40, even if only the children paint.  You will need to paint items that add up to £40 or more. Adults are welcome even encouraged to paint of course.  - Typically, our mugs, are £10 - £13 each, so £40 is not a big ask. If one adult painted a large £38 item, then the children and any non painters only needs to paint a £2 item... I hope that makes sense?

in addition...there is a Minimum Spend per Table

We will not be limiting the numbers, eg you can book between 1 & 8 seats. However the table spend must be £30 or more. Example, one painter paints any number of items that add up to £30 or more, two painters £15 per head. There after the above £10 per head applies.

Strict time limits

Unlike our normal policy of being very relaxed about the time you take to paint,  your 90 minute booking has a definite start and finish time.  We expect you to have finished painting  and ready to leave by the end of your booking. This will give us the time we need (at least 30 minutes) to clean down ready for the next booking.  This clean down would have happened before your booking too.
Even if you arrive late, your end time will be fixed, so reducing the time you have to paint.  In some cases this may not be a problem, eg. if you only want the children painting for  40 minutes for example. If this is the case and you intend to arrive later than the start time, please let us know in advance so we do not assume you are not coming and close.
